¹⁴ David stayed in the wilderness^(A) strongholds and in the hills of the Desert of Ziph.^(B) Day after day Saul searched^(C) for him, but God did not^(D) give David into his hands.

³² Take your flocks and herds,^(A) as you have said, and go. And also bless^(B) me.”

¹⁰ “Go at once,” the king commanded Haman. “Get the robe and the horse and do just as you have suggested for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king’s gate. Do not neglect anything you have recommended.”

³ I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I’ll speak^(A) to him about you and will tell you what I find out.”

⁹ Do not offer on this altar any other incense^(A) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.
